 Piano Lessons are given in an encouraging, structured environment to foster growth and development as a pianist while also providing a stimulating, motivating and enjoyable experience.

 

Now offering Elementary Music Classes!
Elementary Music Class Grades 1-3 will receive instruction in music theory, which includes staff notation, intervals, early elementary rhythm concepts, beginning scale construction, music terminology and ear training. We will also learn solfege syllables and hand signs, music history/appreciation will cover composers, instruments, listening, and of course enjoy applying the concepts through singing songs, games and moving to rhythm.(No home instrument is required)
Elementary Music Class Grades 4-5 will receive instruction for all categories listed above at more progressed level with the addition of learning the circle of 5ths, drawing key signatures, scale construction and basic conducting.

Beginning Class Piano for Grades 1-3 and Grades 4-5 will learn and apply the theory, stated above plus how to play beginning level piano with proper technique, classical repertoire and performance opportunities.(music appreciation may be done only as time allows or as independent study) Classes are limited to 5 and due to the different aspects involved and individual attention given to each student, tuition increases with fewer in the class. Additional optional adjudicated and/or public performance opportunities are available for an additional fee.Students will be expected to complete written theory assignments and practice assigned material daily. (Home piano or keyboard for practice is required)
